Released on November 16, 2018, the fifth shoe in Kyrie Irving’s signature line is, if history is any indication, likely to be widely adopted across the NBA. Designed by Ben Nethongkome, the shoe has been well-received by both casual and serious basketball players.

The Kyrie 5 has new articulated forefoot Zoom cushioning and a lockdown system supported by the Flytrap development. Its popularity for its high performance features is matched by the popularity of its designs. Much like the Kyrie 4, the shoe lends itself well to colorways and PEs and Nike has promised that this edition will have even more options from which to choose.
