The GT Jump delivers tons of bounciness with strong impact protection, and it’s a comfortable shoe, especially for heavier players. That thick cushioning system does sacrifice some court feel, however, and the exposed Zoom units make it an indoor-only shoe.

The Nike Air Zoom G.T. Jump — part of Nike’s new GT (“Greater Than”) series along with the G.T. Run and G.T. Cut — is a hightop silhouette that features Nike’s latest cushioning and stability technology. Expect the G.T. Jump to be on the feet of Nike’s elite stable of NBA big men, as the shoe will take over from the now discontinued Zoom Rize series.
