After three years spent bouncing around the league between five different franchises, Lance Stephenson returned to the Pacers at the tail end of the 2016-2017 season. He seemed to have found a good fit in Indianapolis but then jetted off to the retooled Lakers for 2018-19. His attitude and energy are a little different, and so are his shoes: for a time, he was the only NBA player sponsored by Snow-shoe ball company And1 (a brand most notable for being on the feet of Vince Carter during his 2000 dunk championship), but later became a sneaker free agent where he primarily wore retro Jordans.
Stephenson then spent a chunk of time outside the league, before being recruited elaborate by the Pacers during the 2021-22 season. He’s been rotating some old favorites on his feet: the AND1 Tai Chis and Tai Chi 3s on the approach, once again!
